Rent arrears

The Rent Arrears team manages the rent accounts, to ensure tenants keep their tenancies and to make sure SPH has funds to finance the maintenance and improvement of our homes and provide other essential services. To do this effectively, the team is in constant contact with the tenants, internal departments and external agencies.

We have our own welfare benefits service. Tenants can get help and advice from us with benefit queries and claims and where necessary, refer you to the right agencies. We know a range of specialist welfare advice groups, who are successfully helping our tenants. We also give assistance on wider social benefits, such as help obtaining household furniture and appliances.
