Services

We help over 1,500 tenants and service users with support needs gain greater independence:

Care & repair

These services in the London boroughs of Islington and Camden help make and find funding for essential repairs and adaptations.

Eligibility: We work at the homes of homeowners and private tenants who:

  • Are aged over 60
  • Have a disability, or
  • Are carers

Housing & support

This service:

  • helps vulnerable tenants keep their homes (in event of abandonment or arrears etc) and
  • supports tenants to become more independent
  • works with councils to sort out repairs, rent arrears, neighbour disputes, eligible benefits and other issues
  • works with voluntary and statutory services to sort out referrals and help tenants access local resources

Eligibility: We work with SPH Housing tenants and tenants of certain councils in north London and Watford.

Learning Disability services

We provide rented accommodation and support services for people with learning disabilities at 30 locations in London, Hertfordshire and Kent.

Retirement housing

In Kent, Hertfordshire and London we have comfortable, self contained flats that give tenants security, independence and help when required to over 750 tenants.

Eligibility: Applicants should be:

  • 60 years old or over, or
  • 55 years old with medical or physical issues, or with learning disabilities

Supported housing, residential and nursing care homes run by other specialists

These shared supported housing, residential care homes and nursing homes are owned by SPH Housing and managed by specialist organisations. They are overseen by SPH Housing's supported housing manager and the agency liaison officer.
