Welcome to SPH Housing
We have over 80 years experience providing quality, affordable rented homes and services for general social tenants, retirement and supported tenants, residents in care homes and service users.
We now provide over 4,000 homes for tenants living in Kent, inner and outer London, and Hertfordshire, but also help over 1,500 tenants and service users with support needs achieve greater independence.
Services we provide:
- Caretaking and managing the upkeep of our tenants' homes (Neighbourhood Management)
- Developing opportunities for young and older residents to learn skills and contribute to their community (Community Development)
- Ensuring customers questions and issues are resolved quickly and efficiently (Customer Service)
- Providing homes with independence and support for over 750 retired tenants (Retirement Housing)
- Helping over 1,500 tenants and service users with support needs gain greater independence (Supported Housing)
- Spending over £8.5 million a year upgrading and maintaining our tenants' homes (Technical Services)
SPH Friends
Is a charitable sister organisation providing grants to residents in need of essential basic household items and funding for community development projects.
Origin Group and Griffin Homes
SPH Housing is now part of the Origin Housing Group. We are a stronger and more rounded housing association as part of the group, because Origin gives us the strategic direction and support with a vigorous homes development programme, finance, information and computer systems and human resources services.
A sister organisation in Origin Group is Griffin Homes, a specialist provider of the very complementary services of shared ownership, low cost home ownership, key worker housing and leasehold management.
History
Our housing association has over 80 years of experience, rising from the slums around St Pancras to help improve the housing and lives of the community. Our mission has not changed.
